Kadhi pakora is often made at our home, but I just could not manage myself to take step by step photos and thats why it took me so long to share this delicious Punjabi kadhi. Kadhi Pakora is a light and delicious Indian curry made from chickpeas flour (besan) and sour curd (yogurt). Pakoras or fritters can be made from chickpeas.

The ingredients needed to make Kadhi pakoda:
  1. Take 3 scoops gram flour
  2. Take 8 scoop homemade dahi or Indian curd only homemade
  3. Take 1 medium onion crushed
  4. Get 2 red hot pepper
  5. Take 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  6. Prepare 1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
  7. Make ready Half tablespoon coriander seeds
  8. Get Half tablespoon fenugreek seeds
  9. Take Half tablespoon bay leaves crushed
  10. Make ready 1 tablespoon kasoori methi
  11. Prepare 2 tablespoon salt
  12. Take 2 tablespoon turmeric
  13. Make ready 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  14. Get 2 green chilli chopped
  15. Make ready 2 tablespoon ginger garlic crushed
  16. Prepare 1 tablespoon garam masala
  17. Take Half teaspoon black pepper powder
  18. Prepare 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  19. Prepare 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  20. Make ready Pinch ginger powder
  21. Prepare Coriander leaves to garnish
  22. Make ready 1 tablespoon kitchen king

Kadhi Pakora Recipe is a Pakistani soupy curry with lots of pakoras in it, and is finished off with a karhi patta tadka. Kadhi pakora or Punjabi kadhi is the perfect vegetarian comfort food from North India. Vegetable fritters (pakoras) are coated in a chickpea flour mix and fried to. Pakodas made with besan, dunked in dahi kadhi makes a delicious accompaniment for rice.

Instructions to make Kadhi pakoda:
  1. First put all the spices into curd and gramflour and mix well or blend together
  2. Now in a pan roast cumin seeds+ginger+garlic+red hot pepper+coriander seeds+fenugreek seeds
  3. After roast properly 2 minutes add onion and green chilli roast it but do not make too much brown
  4. Some people recommend to add tomatoes too but my opinion never add tomatoes bcuz it make kadhi more sour
  5. Now add curd mixture
  6. Please stir it by adding small amounts of water
  7. Stir the kadhi atleast for 40 minutes and check it every after 3 or 4 minutes at very low flame
  8. In the end garnish with coriander leaves
  9. Delicious kadhi will ready
  10. PAKODA÷for pakodas take 1 scoop of gramflour and 1 tablespoon curd.
  11. Add pinch of salt and black pepper powder and turmeric and garam masala.
  12. Add sliced onion or potatoes sliced or only onion or only potatoes
  13. Add bit water and make thick mixture
  14. Take spoon or by hand deep fry it in oil
  15. Add pakodas in the end or serve only extra pakodas to guest with kadhi
  16. Add pakodas

I followed the same recipe of my friend Sangeeta's Daahi kadhi recipe, just added pakoda to it. Kadhi pakora recipe is made with gram flour and yoghurt. It is cooked for a long time to make it thick and tasty. Pakoras are made separately and added at the end to the liquid. KADHI PAKODA OR PAKORA (Traditional curry with Pakoras) IN INDIA & PAKISTAN.
