- Wash and soak the dal for 7-8 hrs
- Now pressure cook it with salt and turmeric powder
- Heat oil and temper fenugreek seeds
- Add ginger garlic paste saute until the raw smell disappears

- Add cumin coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well
- Add salt, turmeric powder and chana masala,mix the boiled Dal - Bring it to boil, cook for 5/6 mint then switch off the flame
