  2. Boil the dal and keep aside
  3. Now heat oil and temper cumin seeds, bay leaf and red chilli
  4. Add onion chopped and saute well
  5. Add ginger garlic paste and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
  6. Add cumin coriander powder and saute well
  7. Add tomato and red chilli Powder and mix well
  8. As oil separates add boiled dal and simmer
  9. Add sugar and coriander leaves and serve
