- Mix rice and dal, wash and soak for an hour.
- Once they are soaked, add water as per 1 : 3.5 ratio.
- Add black peppers and salt.
- Now pressure cook it for 3 whistles. After 3 whistles, turn the flame on slow and cook for 5 minutes and then turn the off the flame.
- Once steam released, remove it from cooker and mix well.
- Add ghee in generous quantity and serve hot.
