  2. Heat oil in a kadai and add nigella seeds. Let it splutter.Now add onion paste and sauté for a min on a medium flame.

  5. Along with this goes red chilli powder and chopped tomato. Cook the masala till oil starts separating.
  6. Add yoghurt or curd and stir along with salt. Cook for a min.At this point add cleaned chicken pieces and coat with the masala.
  7. Cover with the lid and cook achari masala on a medium flame. If required and 1/2 cup water. Cook till chicken becomes tender and soft.
  8. Off the gas burner and garnish Achari chicken with chopped coriander seeds.
