- Soak poppy seeds in water for 3 to 4 hours and then drain all the water.
- Add the poppy seeds in a small chutney grinder.add green chilli and water. - grind to a fine paste. add more water if required while grinding.
- Now heat the oil in a pan and add Nigella seeds. Then add the potatoes in the oil and cook on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
- Now add salt, turmeric powder and green chillies and mix. Add water and cover the pan. Check in between and once half done.
- Add poppy seeds paste and mix well to coat the potatoes with the mixture.
- Cover the pan. Let the potatoes cook nicely on medium flame. Cook till potatoes are soften completely. Mix them once again.
- Potatoes are ready.serve with poori or luchi and enjoy.
