- Make ready 100 gms chana daal
- Prepare 100 gms Yellow mung dal
- Take 100 gms green mung dal
- Take 3 Tomato pureed
- Get 2 Medium sized onions
- Prepare 1 Green chilli
- Get as required Fresh coriander
- Get as per taste salt
- Get 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Make ready 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
- Get 2-3 tablespoons Oil for cooking
- Get 2 teaspoons Ginger garlic paste
Sindhi tridaali dal or mixed fry dal. The first one is of course, this Tidaali Dal or Tridaali Dal which, as the name signifies, is made out of three lentils. I have seen various ratios of these dals in multiple websites and I chose to go with a ratio. This is a sindhi dish tridali daal.
Instructions to make Tridaali (triodaal):
- First of all, take all three dals wash and soak for 45 mins. Take a pressure cooker heat 2-3 tablespoons oil, add ginger garlic paste and then add finely chopped onion.
- Cook it until golden brown now add tomato puree (add the green chilli while making tomato puree) and turmeric powder salt and garam masala powder and let it cook on low flame for few minutes.
- Now strain and add the soaked dals mix well and cook for few minutes. Then add 250 ml water and salt mix well and pressure cook upto 3 - 4 whistles.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and add lemon juice before serving. Serve with rice or roti as desired.
