Instructions to make Matar paneer:
  1. Cut the paneer into cubes and washed the peas. Take a pressure cooker add oil heat it.
  2. Put cumin seeds, add onion and tomato puree and saute for 5 mints.
  3. Now add salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder into it and stir well.saute for 5-7 mints.
  4. Add peas into it and saute for 2-3 mints. now add required water into it and close the cooker.cook it for 3 whistle.Add paneer cubes into it and serve it.

Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat until it's shimmering hot. Add the paneer, then turn the heat down a little. Matar paneer is a regular dish in Punjabi households. It is ubiquitious dish and goes very well rice, puri and rice. If made in pressure cooker the cooking time reques drastically.
