Mutton Khichda or Khichra is a variation of the dish Haleem, very popular amongst Indian Muslims throughout the world, especially during Ramadan. Khichra is an extremely popular dish in Pakistan also, and it is sold as snack food in bazaars all year around. It is incredibly healthy and tasty both.   1. First grind coarsely boil the soaked ingredients 8 cups of water with little whole garam masala,few slit green chillies, coriander n mint leaves with little salt.
  2. Now its boiled n done add more water if required. Now heat one cup of oil then add whole garam masala as above given then add 1 sliced onion when brown add the mutton saute with salt n the masala ginger garlic and chilli paste,then add the dry masala n tomato now cook till done.
  3. Mutton is done now transfer it into boiled mixture n let the porridge simmer.now fry 2 onions in one cup oil,when brown remove the onions with few remaining with oil now put this oil on porridge n let it simmer check the consistency.
